This shared shore excursion with a group of maximum 35 people starts at Saint Peter's Square, one of the most impressive spots in Rome. From there we trace a path through the cobbled streets of the city to the superb baroque masterpiece Spanish Steps and then the colossal Trevi Fountain. The tour will then lead into the fascinating world of Ancient Rome where you will learn Roman Emperors glorious past history. Piazza Venezia and the Palatine Hill are the gateway to one of the biggest archaeological parks in the world: Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. The tour ends at the massive and magnificent Colosseum where can be admired the Constantine Arch a part of the Via Sacra leading into the open-air museum of the Forum area. Your driver will collect you from the lane running along the Colosseum for your return journey back to the Civitavecchia port.

Comfortable shoes are recommended. Some sites require a special dress code (e.g. churches). For the sole tours departing on Wednesday including the Vatican: there is a concrete possibility that St. Peter's Basilica and St. Peter's square cannot be visited due to the weekly Papal Audience during which access to the square could be closed.
